Well, he was alive enough to add photos on FB less than 2 months ago. I'd wager just living his life this summer, traveling, and being super busy with fun stuff before obligations of fall kicked in...

But it does suck he just departs this place he created at any time, with no comment, for as long as he pleases. You know I've hated that forever, too. I'm at a high level of acceptance of his limitations, though.
