Nobody messes up a portrait like Picasso. The challenge is that he tried his hand at so many forms of expression. When I saw his ceramic studio in France, I wanted one of everything; they were so organic and soulful.
Abstract art does not pull a lot of emotion from me. But a Mogdliani versus a Edvard Munch is a hands-down winner. Munch was too OCD in his artistic approach to be satisfying as a viewer.

That sums up my art knowledge. Sigh. One little statement. Now, CANADIAN art is something else. The Group Of Seven was an inspiring collection for a growing nation to grow its artistic base upon.

And First Nation arts continue to return to their collective roots and rediscover their inspiration. So much to discover.

Do I win a prize or something? Or a pass for a PBC?
