I'm increasingly having more memory problems. At 59 I doubt that it's my age. I'm afraid it's 30 years of lithium messing with my synapses. I hope to retire from social work in a couple years and get a less stressful job at Home Depot or driving a bus or something. Hopefully, the moron governor won't continue to keep raiding my benefits in favor of the millionaires and big corporations here. I do feel fortunate to have found a way to stay out of the hospital though.
Do you really think that people with mental illness get better or just find a way to manage it?
