The new option may satisfy some people, but given that someone can bully another by simply replying to one's post, then subsequently Twittering the comment, I'm not sure. The programming would have to be revised to completely block comments from Twitter of those who opted out. Still, when the person comes back here, they will see the comment of the person who did not wish to be twittered - but that is not so bad (imo) because it least that person did not, in effect, remove your post from here and redistribute it on Twitter.
Psych Central has a policy that prohibits another individual from taking anothers comments and redistributing it.
