Here's the problem with this as I see it. I know we all agreed that you, Dr. Bob, could use our posts elsewhere but when does common sense play a role here?
"Publishing" is one thing, but Twitter is like MASS POSTING our private stuff to the world. Not sensitive at all. People don't take Twitter sensitively. It is not a place to mess around with your feelings or open up your soul.
I am a big Twitter user. I have a fairly big following and I follow many others. The chances of eventually being identified based upon what I'm writing here is increased by huge amounts. I happen to know that my T is on Twitter. What if she started following your Twitter account by accident? She knows not to come here. This is a special, private space for me. I don't know, too risky. I'm starting to feel like this site has become too exposed for me. I'm very nervous now. Also, I post things here that my friends could identify... then they could find me and see everything. Just a bad plan.
Also, I can't STAND the arguing and tension that goes on in this board and do NOT visit it as a result. I sure wish big announcements like this were posted at the top of our PSYCHO (or other) boards. I shouldn't have to come here and be exposed to these struggles between you and the admins and others just to see if my stuff is going to be used in a way that feels TOTALLY UNSAFE to me.
Please, just remember who you are and how much power you have to hurt. You provide a good service here, but aren't you supposed to avoid DOING HARM?
Thanks,
FindingMyDesire
