FWIW, I think Bob IS slowly changing. Its SLOW.
I think that is why he is trying to change how things run around here, cuz he does on some level realize that its not a good thing when he dissapears.
I think maybe he doesn't always know when he's gonna be swamped and have no time for babble, or mebbe he just forgets us...I dunno.
I wish he would write it on his calendar or something, mebbe once a week spend an hour on babble. And if he's really busy, then just at least post "I'm really busy right now, but i will be back, take care of each other babblers..." or something like that. He could have asst variations on that theme to post. Then at least we'd know he was out there....and that we not just been dumped...I completely agree that a person should get a warning IN THE THREAD first when possible, THEN a block if they don't desist. Sometimes it escalates too fast however...
Actually this too has improved. I think there are fewer blocks that I don't understand, but there still are some. People seem to get mad sometimes at PBC's and the like, I tend to consider them a friendly warning so I can try and stop myself and not get blocked.
I also think blocks should not escalate as quickly either....
