In this case and I am not sure if I made that clear sorry..I don't think I did....I was not KNOWN to Dinah so she was not playing favorites being I was a new name on the board. Maybe not a new poster but a new person to her. My point is in part that I think stress would be lower for all ...and I could be wrong. If ONLY Dr Bob (even though I know he is not around much ) would be the ONLY one who could PBC and block and the deputies would, when they have the time be the ones to help people reword posts (that would be their only duty and or to call Dr Bob say if a hacker got the site again) IF the poster wants to reword it they could reword it. Some people may not care and what what they said to stand and that is OK we are all responsible for what we type. Sometimes though the civil rules are ummmmm odd to me and I can walk on broken glass easier.
But that time I mentioned years ago....the boards were kinder to me and I saw less grief and things as Dinah stated did not seem to escalate like they SEEM to now. I miss those days and I think for me when Dr Bob ONLY could pbc or block things were more peaceful all the way around. But maybe that is just a case of that was back then and this is now...do you think that could be it? Could I be right?
Some sites I belong to, have mods who HAVE never posted or met others on the boards they volunteer on ...I do not see any favoritism on those boards...not that there is favoritism here but there could be ..no?
I do know, nobody ever posts or pm's others saying they think those site mods have favorites because they are objective and not involved with other members off site and in emails and so on.> I have read and understood your previous points.

Which, I feel, should not be the behaviour one would expect of a fair and just deputy. A judge, shouldn't give more lenient sentences to those that are his/her friends. All should be treated equally. Which is one reason why I think Dr Bob is the fairest law enforcer around here.
