I've been very busy and overwhelmed at work this week and have hardly been at Babble. I've hardly been home even.
Could you notify on yourself again? Somewhere you haven't apologized nicely?
However, I'm not sure it's a good thing to encourage incivility as a means to a self block. I've long wished that Dr. Bob would allow a self block just because, but he opposes it in case people wish to change their mind.
There are other ways to go about it. You can change your password to a string of unmemorable numbers so that you can't post, but you can email yourself a new password. Or you can also change your email address to a string of unmemorable numbers, though that might pose a challenge to get your password back. If you know someone who'll help you, you could change your email address to their email address (one not being used I guess), change your password to a string of unmemorable numbers, and then if you want to get your password restored it would go to their email address and they would have to help you get your password back and email address changed back.
I'm not sure if that's against the rules or not. I hope not. But it seems a better solution to me, so I hope it's not.
