Overweight? Over whose weight?!?

Fat is a simple descriptor.

I confess a preference for ponderous since my trip to the thesaurus. But that might not be generally understood and clarity counts I suppose.

big
ponderous
gargantuan
large
weighty
broad
bulgy
husky
rotund
solid
stout
obese
hefty
plump
corpulent
thickset
burly
distended
fleshy

butterball
jelly-belly
roly-poly
