I do not feel you made any assumptions or any of that..sorry .....I mean in general we are not to assume so for me..thats why I want Dr Bob to weigh in on this. I have been here MANY years..and no cops here ...but one has to wonder whats up ..and I have to beleive what the poster said (by civil rules I think?) till I am shown otherwise. Dr Bob did not say to that poster he didnt do it for name calling...but he did say he did report that person a year ago....as it didnt reply to the WHOLE post ...I hope for clarification...But to ME nobody has been uncivil...I hope this makes sense :)

> Oh boy. Maybe this wasn't worded well or thought out properly. What I wanted to express is that I think the average poster is pretty secure from police action, and that police are likely only contacted in extreme and unusual circumstances-not for breaking babble rules. My sincerest apologies if anyone feels accused in any way because of what I wrote. At this point I have already long been thinking abstractly, no longer about the original post which led to the discussion. I have no more idea about that than anyone else, and do not wish to speculate about it. Thank you for clarifying your line of thinking for me, Fallen4myT. The discussion makes more sense to me now, and again, I hope I did not cause anyone to feel accused. Your points are enlightening.

> > > Clearly something extreme and out of the ordinary happened. I would bet that most of us are not in any danger of having the police called on us, no matter how many Psychobabble rules, such as civility rules, we happen to break. Breaking civility or babble rules isn't against the law. Even rudeness isn't against the law, though it's unpleasant. Forgetting to use proper quotes on books, accidently listing an online pharmacy, discussing your marijuana usage back in college, posting under multiple names, name-calling- none of that behavior should result in any police action. Those aren't CRIMINAL offenses. The most terrible behavior on babble should ultimately result in being blocked, at worst-which isn't against the law, and couldn't possibly go on any police record. Unless they are threatening others with violence, setting up an illegal drug laboratory, engaging in identity theft, soliciting minors, etc- I think most people can take a deep breath and trust things are ok and in order.
