I am on an online support group where a member posted her own death on the "In Memory Wall". Needless to say it was very disturbing to find out that she died ... and then came back from the dead.
As a result of this incident, in order to submit a name for the "In Memory" portion of the site, an obtituary has to be faxed or mailed to the owners of the site.
I think it's a sound policy.
