Question about block lengths

Posted by zazenducky on September 14, 2006, at 19:43:56

Will posters who were given blocks of months or years before the new reduction for time without blocks policy came into effect have the clock rolled back on their blocks? It seem that would be the just thing to do. A person who had been sentenced to a year would have to post for 10 years before recieving a clean slate.

Whereas a person under the new reduction for good time rules might concievably post many more uncivil posts by spacing them out at 10 week intervals and recieving a one week block each time. It would be possible to recive over 45 blocks in this time (10 years) with only one one week block each time. A person sentenced under the old rules would reach the year limit in 7 blocks in a little over a year. In 10 years then there would only be the possibility of 15 blocks. Seewhatimean????

Please address this issue. Thanks
