Question about order of messages in threads:

Posted by Janelle on September 4, 2006, at 23:53:10

I posted a reply to someone (checked the box to include that person's name) within a thread on another board and thought my reply would appear right below the person to whom I was replying. However, my reply came out at the bottom of the thread, so to speak, meaning it was the most recent posting there.

I would have thought that when a person replies to a specific other person as I did, that the reply would be fit in right below the original post?

How does it work regarding the order of messages within threads when a person replies directly to someone else's post within the same thread?

Gosh, I hope I'm making my question clear!
