I keep having these revelations in therapy, learning new things about myself, and I'm so excited -- and I'll say, "Hey! You know what I just figured out about myself?" And my therapist will just about fall out of her chair laughing -- "I knew that about you. We all knew that about you. You're the only one who didn't realize it!"

And I'll say, "Well, I wish someone had told me..."

You know, life would be a heck of a lot easier if someone would just introduce us to ourselves, don't you think?

(Seriously, though -- I think you can do this. I also think that starting meds for a while would help you a lot with it. Don't think of it as regression -- think of it as PROgression. This time 'round, you're proactively going on meds to to help you through a rotten adjustment phase. You need to adjust to a new place, and you're having trouble with that. Once you get more settled in -- six months? That's nothing -- you may not need the drugs anymore. But isn't it better to have the help now, when you need it?)

Take care, and I hope you're well.
