I'm having a problem with the way those work. I've looked back and tried to understand the lines that get crossed, and I'm not sure.
Obviously I haven't been blocked yet, but I don't know if that is because I'm still flying under the radar or I'm tiptoeing the minefield correctly.
I know there have been past debates on this, so I hope I'm not rehashing too much, but the board admits it can be a challenge and is subject to change. Maybe we need some specific instructions - like - referring to leaders by nicknames even common ones is disrespectable and thus must go.
I guess what I'm trying also to figure out, is the issue down to "The current administration is criminal." versus "Some constitutional scholars have stated that the current administrations actions would not pass judicial muster." Or is the issue more along the lines of " Some people hate the president and some people love him. We musn't hurt the lover's feelings." (that sounds sarcastic, but it's supposed to be minimilized to the smallest core issue). Politics inspire anger and fear and disgust and dread, even hate. Not exclusive to the negative emotions, but there wouldn't be much use of debating whether we like the policies, or we love the policies.
Can I be angry at actions of individuals and governments without hurting or offending the people who disagree with me, or is the disagreement in itself hurtful.
I'm losing posting friends left and right, and I don't want to be next.
thank you
