personally...

i don't have a problem with people posting about any of the above topics on any of the boards - so long as they warn people in the heading that that their post is going to be talking about these things.

it is up to us whether we open the posts
whether we follow the thread or not.

if people find certain topics triggering then so long as they are warned in the subject header then they can make an informed decision as to whether they want to read the posts to that thread or not.

and if people find particular posters thoughts on certain topics particularly triggering then one can make an informed decision to avoid posts on triggering topics... while still reading posts from that poster that are not on that topic.

it would be a shame...
if people were prevented from expressing themselves / their thoughts / their concerns / their questions etc (even when civil) because of responses / reactions from others.

one of the things i find so beneficial about the boards is that i can be honest about that kind of stuff...
and that i can talk about it
and vent about it

and i'd hate for anybody to be silenced...
