Re: Separate Board for Christians?

The central tenets of Christianity include beliefs that there is one God, one Messiah, and only one true path to salvation. As a Buddhist, I don't believe in those tenets, but I'm discouraged by the fact that the current rules of the Faith board prohibit Christians from expressing their core religious beliefs, and that even the most carefully worded attempts to stay within the guidelines result in challenges to the integrity and intentions of those who post.

I respect people of all faiths, but I also think they should stay out of one another's discussions when they disagree on matters of faith. This is not the place to debate or challenge Christianity, Judaism or any other religion, and I'm exhausted by the time and bandwidth wasted by posters accusing one another and questioning each other's intentions.

Please stop this. As it is, the Faith board is a colossal failure in my opinion by trying to enforce an unworkable compromise on people of differing beliefs. I think we should either let people express their beliefs without challenge from others or shut down the board. It's simply not working.
