My own commitments in the month of June seem to keep morphing every week or so. It's frustrating. Although, I think the only question we posed was what date posters would *prefer*, out of three choices. Hopefully, the understanding was they were choosing the best weekend in the event they found they could come. So, it wouldn't have to feel like a false statement to indicate a preference...
I know folks are cautious about making definitive statements, though. Me, I just plow ahead then end up having to say, "oops, sorry," I guess.
Hopefully it'll get easier as it gets nearer. I think one idea is to post another linked banner on the boards with the chosen date, then encourage more responses to that, e.g., "Who thinks they probably/possibly/maybe/hopefully could come on this date?"
We shall keep muddling through. Thanks for your thoughts :-)
