I certainly understand that the choice of words in poetry is deliberate and it changes the feel of the poem to modify it.

But you haven't run afoul of the rules when posting poetry, so it isn't (yet) an issue there, right?

To be contrary to those that don't mind swearing, I do have a bit of a problem with the concept of allowing it on this site.

Many, many folks (myself included) lurk for quite a while before posting here. I would be afraid if swearing is allowed that we wouldn't get as many thoughtful caring people here as we now have.

I probably would have been turned off (distracted) by it and missed the opportunity to meet many wonderful people.
