conversational turn taking

I have to say that I haven't been keeping up with the admin. board particularly - things have been moving so fast there... As a consequence I may have misunderstood or failed to read something important, but I think the 3 posts rule is nice. Sure '3' is arbitrary, but it seems a reasonable number to me. Even baby babbles conform to conversational turn taking. I like the below link - without turns one doesn't have a conversation, one has a lecture. I personally don't read series of posts from just one poster as I like to read a variety of views on a topic.
