I just had my computer done over from scratch and it's now loaded with XP, which I am liking. It's also nice to have better virus protection and to be rid of all the messy stuff that was making the old OS function more and more slowly (until it froze up).
One teeny tiny issue is this: When viewing PB in frames, the whole page seems to be set up for a bigger monitor screen than I have. I've adjusted the screen text size to "smaller", which helps (kinda) but it doesn't change what happens in the posting frame, where I am now. This results in having to scroll side to side in order to see the edge of the message box and the scroll bar on the right side of the message box. OK, when I'm typing, it scrolls automatically, but if I'm editing and am looking for a particular spot, it requires scrolling side to side. I.e., I can't see the entire message box at once. If I want to see the entire message box, I have to adjust the center frame wall so that the screen is split about 40/60.
It's not that big an issue, but it is hard to get used to. Any ideas?
