Don't feel bad about what's been going on with those threads. It's not your fault in any way.
Personally, I can't imagine the stress that acting as deputy in this sitaution must cause you, and I'm impressed as all hell that you can manage it -- and manage it with so much grace.
Thank you, personally from me to you. You are a big part of what makes it possible for these boards to survive, and through them for a lot of us to survive. Just think, you can literally save lives from the relative comfort of your own keyboard. Not many people can say that they single handedly (unless you're a touch typist d^;) make the world richer and better for some many people in so much pain. I'm so sorry that it adds to your own psychic burden, but it's a real monument to your own strength and ability that you're able to do it, do it consistently, and continue to do it.
I hope that helps a bit. For a little measure mark on where it comes from: right now I'm on a ledge over the abyss, beyond the reach of the top. And your contributions were so strong I had to throw a note tied to a rock over the top onto solid ground, just for you. *That* is how important you are, even to someone in my current state.
