Suggestion: no auto join for free email accounts

I think that because it is possible for someone to create a hotmail or yahoo etc email account on the fly, then come here & join up, it is too easy for trolls to come in & be cruel & disruptive. Maybe a provision for those joining with a free email account requiring them to send some ID before being allowed to post might help?
