"I absolutely know it's the truth and the power."

"But He has rules and is very strict."

"...if I offend, I can only say that sometimes I have to stand up for what I believe with all my heart, is the answer to life's greatest challenges."

>>>I'm gald that you've been able to find YOUR truth. However, your inflexible and subjective religious comments offended me.

>>>I don't believe that failure to adhere to the civility guidelines necessarily equals "making a stand" for your religion.

I have endured much suffering and grief and through it have developed an unshakable faith in God. If I didn't absolutely know it worked for me as I worked for it, I would have said so. I am also inflexible in my belief in the Ten Commandments and in the Constitution of the United States. All these things work together for the good of mankind, even though everyone has agency to choose for themself.

galkeepinon was reaching for help and specifically asking for straight out answers.

I responded as straight forward as I could have. I was very clear in stating that although this belief has worked for me, it has not worked for my brothers, or others who have not fully embraced it.

I hope you are able to understand that I realize the Christian stand is offensive to those who do not believe that way. It has always been so. But if my Christian belief has empowered me to overcome my addictions, and if someone is asking for help, what else have I to offer? I feel compassion for my brothers. I have never looked down upon anyone for their belief. Like my father, I take enjoyment in association with all people, especially the less fortunate. I don't think I have ever conversed with someone but what I didn't try to lift or help them. That's just how I am. And, I'm not really appologizing, just explaining, but asking you to reconsider the offense, and try to view it from another light. Thankyou.
