I agree, DS. I think often we write in our darkest moments, and since everybody here has some pretty dark moments, I think the best we can do is support. Plus, when somebody did recently attempt some form of intervention I believe a law suit was threatened against Bob and PB, and the person who was going to be "helped" was furious and sparked other fury, and people fought, and left, and worried, etc....
I believe it is clearly stated in the "intro" posted on each board--if you're in trouble, get help the regular way (or something to that effect) meaning don't count on this forum to save your life if you're suicidal. Fact is people in real trouble need face-to-face help. It seems to me that's been made clear.

> Maybe the person was well known and care and concern are merited in any situation like this--- but, this comes around every month or so. I'm not saying it's not real. Support is ALL that can be offered. This is not a forum for crisis intervention. The individuals that post these serious threats need to get off line and get help. Why is there always anger if the threat is questioned? Why is there always a "Don't worry about me, I won't be back anyway"--- only to have them reincarnate as another ID? Unfortunately, I've seen it too much to be fazed, and that's really sad.
