Larry,

You have repeatedly helped people on this site with your informative posts regarding medications and supplements. Further, you speak with a tone of thoughtfulness and kindness in your words. I have respect for you Larry.

I'm sorry that someone on this site tried to ambush you without cause.

Utopizen, i don't see how the stuff (copies of some of Larry's posts) you posted signifies anything about Larry being a bad or insincere person. Maybe i'm missing something, i dunno. But i don't think so. So he doesn't like to work a specific full-time job-- what's the big deal?? Take it easy man. i think youre a little to sensitive to his reasonable criticisms of GHB and meth. Think about that.
i'd be really freaking hurt by the stuff you said if i was him (but hopefully and most likely he's alot stronger than i). i know youve already been blocked, but please, don't be so dang suspicious and critical. He definitely seems knowledgable to me, and not just a good B.S.er. So, bygones are bygones now & lets be good.

Larry has answered countless question from me without any type of condescending attitude. Who cares what someone does for a living, it is irrelevent to who they are as a person. I didn't work for 3 months after my illness took a turn for the worst at one point years ago.
The point is it is obvious affective disorders strike at all levels and this may be our greatest strength....we can gain knowledge from people with all different backgrounds and experiences. All I have to say is thank you Larry and thanks to all of the other supportive people on his board. Peace

I second the defense of Larry. I'm sure if you could do a Google search on everything I've ever written there would be inconsistencies (not that there are with Larry). Nothing that Larry's accusers have said do anything to impeach the quality of the information he shares - his diagnosis, insurance, and work are his business.

2 days ago I had my seven-month anniversary of not working. I chose not to work and am self-funding it but it's not to have an extended vacation or to commit sins against the Protestant work ethic. Instead it has been a time for me to do a tremendous amount of self-work and growth. We might all be better off if everyone worked more by working less.

So for me, too: "All I have to say is thank you Larry and thanks to all of the other supportive people on this board."

Personally, I would not like to see what I have posted in the past. As when my mood is out of whack, so is my writing due to my scrambled thought patterns. I have not found this to be true about Larry at all.
