I made a post that I regretted from the moment I hit submit on my keyboard. I broke one of my own rules and that was to never project my own insecurities onto others in public.
I was aware of kid a's history with his cleft pallet when I wrote my post but my post was merely aimed at kid a to give him something to think about. I was just hoping for a more thoughtful response from him than I actually received. Yes his reply hurt and I interpreted the subject title of the post as a subtle dig at me that he has friends here and I don't. Alii's reply also hurt me (and in Tabitha's words I am now very "leery" also on PSB) BUT it was never my intention for either kid a or alli to be blocked
I am now afraid that I have made enemies on PSB and that is a thought I cannot handle. I also cannot handle the thought that private emails are probably now being exchanged about me at this moment between the parties involved.
Alii pointed out in her post that PSB is Kid a's outlet and I can imagine that it is very hard for him and Alii to have now lost that outlet.
As the person that was actually hurt by alii and kid a's posts I would like to request that you consider lifting the blocks that you have placed on them. I think the point has been made and I was warmed by the supportive posts that I received and the confirmation that I do have friends here.
I would then very much appreciate a a thoughtful discussion on the whole issue of the posting of photos and the context in which personal photo's are posted. Alii has already posted her views on the topic but when she included my previous message she removed the links provided by myself in that message. I would very much like to know what other posters views are on this whole topic or whether I am some sort of freak for feeling the way I did about context in which kid a continued to post his pics (I would very much appreciate if this discussion can be limited to the relative safety of the ADMIN BOARD as you advised when you blocked kid a)
I would much rather have this occur than for private emails to be exchanged between blocked posters on the topic.
