The sacrament ceremony is the most sacred part of Christian worship. Many Christian religions have the sacrament, but all perform the ordinance a little differently. During sacrament church members take time to reflect upon the past week's events in relation to the commandments. It is keeping the commandments that proves our love for God, not drinking of his blood. Taking the sacrament is symbolic of the covenant made at baptism to keep the commandments and follow him. It is also symbolic of all the promises and covenants God makes to sustain us, be with us, guide us, support us, as we keep his commandments and follow him.
