Heh. Yeah. I don't know why it interests me so much. Aside from my fascination with the plasticity of the brain, I'm also motivated by the poor quality of many existing doctors. I really feel like I could potentially do a much better job. It bothers me that the couple times I've been allowed to see a pdoc, it's this big deal. They're harried and textbook, and their dismissive diagnoses (or lack of) are infallible (within my HMO).
And programming just isn't that exciting. :)
