Hi Bob,After much tinkering, trying UDP ,HTTP and different ports,I think I'll concede defeat!!
Connection times out on UDP, and disconnects on HTTP (but HTTP streaming isn't available, right?)
I'm running Win.XP, and there shouldn't be any incompatibility issues if I can use quicktime elsewhere.Never mind, I think I get the thrust of the talk from some of the feedback on PB.Thanks anyhow.

ps. where did you find the time to learn all about TCP/IP transport protocols, frames etc. ??
