"Automatic posting of email addresses is now a centralized registration option."

This sentence, though a little confusing, means you still have the option to post your address (if you want), but you have to sign up for it when you register. It does not mean that the email addresses of all who register will appear automatically with each post.

Plain English is often clearer and easier to understand, even if it lacks the poetry of "centralized registration option." I'd have said something like, "Please note this change: If you'd like to show your email address when you post, you must now choose that option at registration. If you select that option, your email address will appear with each post."

It's a hard thing to say concisely, as simple things often are. Go figure. (I'm sure someone will best me on this one; maybe Dr. Bob already did.)
