I'm not sure I know what you're talkiing about since none of your admin posts (at least those that I know about) have disappeared. Some don't show up at the bottom of messages, but I see them on the Board list.
I don't think you should be discouraged. I thought your post about restraint was a wonderful demonstration of the need for us all to realize that what we post on this Board may lead to further needless disruption (as oppose to the needful perhaps). I really had the sense that you posted that for the good of the Board as a whole. I have no idea what Bob thought of it - if his reaction was negative, i hope he explains that to you - I think he owes you an explanation.
I appreciated the sentiment behind your post and i don't think you should fault yourself for taking a stab at getting that message out when you did.
