Answer to #5 is Zo's been blocked for a while.My answer to #4 is psychological somewhat. I feel responsible to a degree for what has gone on by encouraging some of the original posts (in good faith) that only led to anguish & despair. Okay, maybe I shouldn't state it THAT strong, but people did get upset. So I feel that I should try to clear matters up a bit, if I can. Some seem to appreciate it & I have been civil to the best I can. At least, Bob hasn't told me otherwise.

A very enlightening post from you.#2 on Faith. Well, to me, it seems the purpose of that board was to placate some people, hoping to keep controversy to a minimum (as if!). Anyone is allowed to post as long as they water down their beliefs so "one size fits all". Being wishy-washy is encouraged along with the choice whether to vacillate on what you believe or not.
And finally, #1. Of course, it's necessary to read such posts first but don't admit it. If one admits that she/he read & was offended, then she/he obviously is not following the wise counsel to ignore inflammatory material, & it's her/his own fault for getting riled up so easily. On the other hand, we can all pretend we didn't read any of the posts. That would stop controversy before it even started. Or we could post completely unrelated posts back & forth - like a group carrying on a conversation that no one listens to & no one answers. Sounds a lot like what happens when world leaders get together to discuss peace policies.
