That is certainly a reasonable course of action, but I think it a bit rude to simply yank a neutral party's posting, cloak-and-dagger-like, without any sort of acknowledgement. I would have appreciated knowing what happened to my posting, which I put a fair bit of effort into - and do not possess a backup copy of.
