Well, (1) the problem we identified before:

is continuing, so I've set up an automatic system to check the server periodically and notify them if it recurs, (2) it's possible that activity elsewhere on the server was redirected to that off-peak time, and (3) some of this site's own administrative jobs (like doing statistics) is scheduled for then, too...
