If your filtering software (in this case, AOL's) allows it, you can try moving all messages with a "CC" line to a different folder. This will seperate messages sent just to you from messages sent to multiple people.
Also, some spam is locally distributed (the "To" line will not contain your address). You can move all messages that are not addressed to you to another folder.
I have no idea what kind of e-mail utilities AOL provides, but you should be able to set your own filtering rules like those above.
