I think the way you stand up for dad...er, I mean Dr. Bob, is sweet. I love him, too.There could be a lesson here, though, about a relationship in which A states something she didn't like about what B did; and B considers it and responds in a mature, thoughtful way. I think that is a good way to handle potential disagreements in a relationship.
Trust me, if Dr. Bob had disagreed with me, he would have said so succinctly and directly. And, I might have been disappointed that we disagreed, but that is how it goes sometimes.
Handling differences, especially differences of opinions, is a big part of a successful relationship. And here at admin we get lots of good examples of Bob doing that well. He may agree, disagree, or even change his mind after reading something, and he says so. That is great stuff.
