Civility question for Dr. Bob

Posted by Dinah on February 10, 2002, at 9:03:16

I really wanted to jump in with a "please be civil" reminder last night, but I didn't want to overstep my role as poster.
But it occurs to me that not saying anything could be considered as uncivil to and unsupportive of the poster being insulted.
It also occurs to me that you can't be here all the time.
What would you have a poster do when confronted with gross incivility towards another poster? What wording would be appropriate?
Thanks
