I've come to feel that a thread about the PBS program on child development, or non-pathological brain research, discussions of somebody like Damasio, would be off topic. I think that they're related enough to be of interest to the psycho-babble community, but irrelevant to somebody who is trying to find the right drug to alleviate his/her pain.
It could be a good place for the intellectually curious but recovering to go. I would call it maybe Psycho-Babble-Science. Psycho-Babble-Psycho-Science or Psycho-Babble-Neuroscience.
