In addition to reducing the web hosting costs if feasible, you should display your affiliation with Amazon more prominently and add one or two more affiliations--maybe CDnow or Pets.com or use the affiliation matching service of beFree.com. A corporate sponsor is a good idea for the long term. It would take some time to identify approaprate sponsors and solicite them.
