The term “intellectual property rights” is the term used by the legal departments of the publishers. Several of the publications describe their rights as “intellectual property rights”, as you may see from these few user agreements excerpted here under the fair use clause 107 of the U.S. copyright code.A review of the first few of about 70 on-line journals and resources listed shows most charged substantial subscription fees. A review of the remaining journals suggests they comprise a very high-quality and specialized genre of journals, which typically sustain their efforts by charging substantial fees.
Some of the listed journals offer free trial subscriptions, but the extensive list of costly usernames and passwords posted seemed to suggest it originated at a well-funded institution. Many of the usernames included the words "logan" and "library", suggesting the information might have originated from the Quad-L (Logan) Library in the Department of Psychology at the University of New Mexico. One of the usernames posted was that of a long-time and regular contributor to the Psycho-Babble boards.
