The repetetiveness doesn't bother me much--I just skim the thread topics and choose which to read, skipping a lot these days.
I still think it is the nature of an interactive board, though, for things to repeat as people come in and connect around certain topics. I think the search function, and the tips folder can add to the experience, but I don't think it is going to eliminate the repeating altogether.
