scope of boards

Psycho-babble is limited to medication issues; are there any guidelines for topicality for posts on Psycho-social babble?

I wonder if discussions of politics and other non-mental-health issues belong there. Is the idea for the board to educate and support about mental health, or provide a place for people who share the common bond of mental health issues/interest to discuss anything?
