I'm here, and I do understand about being not quite so willing to open up on Social. I know hardly anybody there now. And, it is all so repetitive.
Not that there's anything wrong with repetition, because I'm sure a LOT of us oldies repeated tons of things....However, I'm not in such a great space right now, so, I avoid all the other boards.
Plus, I can't afford to go to a pdoc, so no med changes in my future, and I avoid the meds board (the original!) also. Maybe if I get some $$ I'll go find out the newest and 'best' combos.
Until then, I'm trying to hold things together, and it's really all for naught. We hear about folks with millions and billions...and a few thousand would do it for me. To pay the gas, water, electric, mortgage, etc.
Oh, well, I guess that's just how it goes. One finance guru once said 'the first $40,000 matters, other than that it's gravy.' Well, I'm under $13,000--so I guess I belong in the non-gravy group. With MANY others, and no outside help.
Wow, I'm sure this isn't what you wanted! But I AM here, and hope you're doing well. You seem to be. And, having vacations, even!!
I like the connections with other oldies.
