Thanks for responding. I'm totally unreliable these days. Here then gone, etc. But, still here--some would say that's a good thing.I had substitute teacher orientation, and am totally petrified about walking into a classroom. [Or...name about anything, and I'd probably be totally petrified.] But, one of the speakers talked about being a sub (he's now an asst. principal) and was asked the question "What if we get a call to teach biology or calculus?" (and the person didn't have any experience in that), and he said "Come on down!" So...I think that kind of confidence is a guy thing. He was a coach, and said he'd never taught biology or chemistry or algebra until he was a sub.
I think my newest talent is generalized anxiety with panic attacks (and sometimes, hot flashes in conjunction with). It's a great combo during an interview. "Just one moment; let me wipe off the sweat pouring down my neck, put my head in this paper bag and then between my knees. I'll be right back with you." I guess it'll give me time to think of answers to questions. :)
Anyhow, hope all of y'all are well; meds are working, etc. Glad to hear from each and every one. It is so nice to be able to actually say these things and not have people draw back in horror (although, actually, since I can't see your faces, you may be doing that--but I assume not). It is a great gift that you all give to me.
