Oh, Cass! Your timing is perfect! I needed a laugh, and I'll tell you why what you wrote did it for me. It'll prove to you how very weird my mind can be at times...

That makes me think of all of us "old-timers" sitting in rocking chairs, saying, "Well, back in *my* day..." We'll be great company, though, won't we?

>>Racer, I know what you mean about staying away from PBA. It's easy to get caught up in the angst and drama. I try to focus on things that are constructive and life affirming which is why I watch very little television now.

This is what really made me laugh, though! And it's totally unrelated to PB.

So, from the time I first moved out on my own, until I moved in with my husband, I did not have a television. That doesn't mean I didn't watch TV, just that I didn't have one at home, so if I wanted to watch something, I *had* to make an effort and be around someone else.

My mother used to tell me, though, that I read too many books, they'd rot my mind, and I needed to watch more TV!! Used to make me laugh every time. (I happen to think my MomCat is funny. Maybe she trained me to appreciate her type of humor?)

Thanks for stopping by, and I look forward to seeing you back again.
