Well, as we say in Texas, dag-nabbit!

I'm very sorry to hear that it did not work out, because it seemed to be such a good fit!

Now that I'm 53 (!!) I can say with some authority "do not take it personally or as a reflection of what you can do!"

Sometimes, you just get stuck with a wacko and there is no way to handle it. That was what my last job was like. Sometimes people are very threatened by competence, vision, ability....whatever.

[My sweetie says that some even hire folks and then work to discredit them. It is hard for gullible me to relate to that idea, but, I am not a disbeliever in it.]

I know (from so many interviews) how it can be tricky to say "My last boss was wacko" but there ARE ways to say it. Probably, you need better help than I can provide because I'm still way under-employed.

However, there are plenty of ways to present the situation in a light that does not reflect badly on you. I remember how excited and enthusiastic you were on getting the job (if I'm remembering correctly), so, it could be possible to use coworkers as references from that place who can say you were a good employee.

Anybody have other ideas?

Shar
