I remember this problem.. its to do with the the tables are linked together when you run the query.. My brain is fuzzy.. but.. when you run a query, does it show you the links between each table?? If so, make sure there is only one link between each table, and that the link is a unique field.. like a reference number for that record.
I hope that leads you somewhere near a resolution.. I may be way off!!
