Going into my new job!! *grins*
Was a great day, I thoroughly enjoyed it.. I hope I did OK. I was going in to attend a meeting this morning.. I got there early, and it was complete bedlam as they were running so late for the meeting so I pitched in and helped out with getitng the meeting room set up and photocopying agendas and the like..
meeting was interesting.. Its great going to meetings like this and actually being interested in whats happening!! Its hard to remember I am there as admin staff though and not to give my opinion *lol*After that a guy came to speak to me, to ask if I would be involved in the Service User network - a network of people from each Health trust in London in how to use service users.. I jumped at the chance, and he announced that the next meeting was at 2pm, and if I was going, would I do the minutes!! *laughing*
Anyway, walking back to the office, there was a VIP in reception.. Prince Charles!!!!!! It was sooo surreal!! He's a lot chunkier than I was expecting!!
So, I went up to office, and typed up some stuff for them, and then it was time to go off to the Service User network meeting!!
Hope the minutes I took are OK.. its been years since I had to take minutes, and then it was only in technical meetings!So wow.. had a really good day. Didn't even get overly stressed by the messed up tubes on the way home!
I feel so good about this!!
