This is just to let you all know, so you won't worry. I'm following Shar's rule that if something might change, suicide is not allowed.
My husband called the head of the medication clinic. Wonder of wonders, he got a call back. Hubby told him what was going on, that I'm unmedicated, that at this point I'm effectively anorexic again and eating pretty much only what's listed on the "do not eat" list for MAOIs, that I've stated that I will accept MAOIs only for the purpose of suicide, and that when I showed up for my appointment on Tuesday -- which had been scheduled the week before -- I was sent away. Hubby, by the way, is out for blood. The head says that he will review my chart, and make sure something changes fast. Hubby also called back to say that this is a crisis, and whatever happens has to happen fast.
So I, Racer, do hereby solemnly swear that I will do nothing to cause lasting harm to myself until this plays out.
